This is Department 56 ~ MERCHANT SHOPS which are all marked as Item #59269 and is a Set of 5 Shops. ~ These shops were introduced in 1988 and retired in 1993. ~ The Shops that are a part of this set are: Poulterer ~ Geo. Weeton Watchmaker ~ The Mermaid Fish Shoppe ~ White Horse Bakery ~ Walpole Tailors. ~~~ Each building comes with it's own light which includes a light switch. ~ They are created from a fine porcelain bisque which allows the porosity of the piece to show beautifully thru it when lit!

Each of these buildings come in their own styrofoam container with sleeve around it. ~ Each building has the name of the piece as well as the Department 56 logo stamped into the bottom of the piece to prove the authenticity of the piece.

These Department 56 buildings are from shop inventory after closing our business so are NEW and in MINT CONDITION with original packaging.
