This is Boyd's ~ LAURA ... FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL  which is Item #4903. ~ She is from the YESTERDAY'S CHILD Doll Collection and is a 16" LIMITED EDITION. ~ Each Boyd's doll features custom-designed clothing and accessories; a hand fashioned wig; intricately crafted, cold-cast resin hands and feet (a Boyds innovation!); a hand-painted porcelain face; and a Plush Best Friend. ~ They are hand-numbered and back-stamped and that same number is on the CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY that comes with them. ~ They all come with their own Boyd's Doll Box. ~~~~~

LAURA is dressed in a blue jumper with a large blue bow on her head to match. ~ There is white eyelet large ruffles on the suspenders of her skirt as well white eyelet on the hem of her skirt. ~ She has a pink blouse that has embroidered areas on it and a collar that has eyelet ruffles. ~ There is a beautiful oval pin at the top of her blouse and she has a couple of tears on her one cheek! ~ She is carrying her strapped together books in one hand and her little bear is enjoying the apple he is carrying.
