This is TY BEANIE BABY ~ TEDDY which was introduced in 2002 as the 100th Anniversary Bear. ~ The medallion around his neck reads "CELEBRATING 100 YEARS OF TEDDY BEARS 1902-2002" and has the bust of a teddy bear. ~ The back of the medallion reads the same but has a picture of Teddy Roosevelt. ~ The verse on the tag reads "I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S BEEN SO LONG - ONE HUNDRED YEARS HAVE COME AND GONE - BUT THROUGH IT ALL I HAVE STAYED TRUE - THE CUDDLY BEAR YOU ALWAYS KNEW!" ~ He has a sheer light green ribbon around his neck and brown velveteen pawpads. ~ There is a 15" Classic Bear that matches it and was introduced at the same time. ~ He is also in our listings and his name is TEDDYBEARSARY! ~~~~~
