This is the Snowbaby ~ WISHING ON A STAR which is Item # 79430. ~ This piece was introduced in 1990 and retired in 1994. ~ It stands 3.5" high. ~ In 1987 Department 56 introduced the Snowbabies. ~ Snowbabies are created from a fine porcelain bisque. ~ These tiny figures in their snowsuits covered with frosty bisque crystals soon became the delight of collectors everywhere. ~~~~~
