This is Boyd's ~ TILLIE HOPGOOD...THE EGGSITTER which is Item #227734. ~ Tillie is the contemplative sort! ~ She was introduced in 2000 and retired that same year. ~ Tillie is a shelf sitter and I have her on a displayer but she can be set on the edge of a shelf, on a decorative box, etc. ~ She is sitting on her nest of decorated eggs and thinking about how hard her job is. ~ There is a sign on the back of her nest "SOME JOBS ARE HARDER THAN OTHERS". ~ The quote on the bottom reads "SOMETIMES I SITS AND THINKS, AND THEN AGAIN I JUST SITS". ~~~~~
