Product Description
This is Boyd's ~ PAULA With PEEK & BOO...MAKE NEW FRIENDS which is Item #4835. ~ She is a part of Boyd's MY BEST FRIEND DOLL COLLECTION. ~ Inspired by friendship, doll artist Julie Good-Kruger made a series of 12" dolls that come with their own mini Best Friends! ~ Each Boyd's doll features custom-designed clothing and accessories; a hand fashioned wig; intricately crafted,  cold-cast resin hands and feet (a Boyds innovation!); and a hand-painted porcelain face. ~ Each doll is hand-numbered and back-stamped and comes with it's own box with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY which also has the number of that particular doll on it. ~ This one is a 1E. ~~~~~

Paula's playing peacemaker with her two best friends - Peek, the mohair cat, and Boo, the mini resin mouse. ~ She has to show them that differences make for great friendships. ~ Perhaps a simple game of peek-a-boo will break the ice a bit! ~ Paula's dressed for a day of play in a folk-art-style dress, that features pompoms, a collar with hand-embroidered flowers, and attached apron and piping detail. ~ She is also wearing old-fashioned little buttoned boots, created from resin. ~ She is so adorable!
