This is Boyd's ~ CHARLES DUNKLEBERGER PRINCE OF TALES ... KISS ME QUICK! which is Item #36700. ~ He is from Boyd's RIBBIT & CO. Series and was introduced in 1998 and retired in 1999. ~ He is 3" high and 3.5" wide at the base. ~ He seems to have given up on selling kisses at 10, 5 or 1 cent and now has "FREE" on his sign. ~ The verse on the bottom reads "NEVER BE HAUGHTY TO THE HUMBLE; NEVER BE HUMBLE TO THE HAUGHTY" by Jefferson Davis. ~~~~~
