This is Boyd's ~ ELIZABETH & LOCKSLEA With CURRY...NEW BEST FRIENDS which is Item #4946. ~ In 2000, doll artist Julie Good-Kruger joined the Boyds Family and has built upon YESTERDAY'S CHILD...THE DOLL COLLECTION, which are 16" LIMITED EDITION Dolls. ~ Each doll has custom-designed clothing and accessories; a hand fashioned wig; intricately crafted, cold-cast resin hands and feet (a Boyd's innovation!); a hand-painted porcelain face; and a plush play companion. ~ Each doll is hand-numbered and back-stamped. ~ They come with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY with that same number on it as well as their own Boyd's Doll Box. ~~~ Elizabeth is dressed in jodhpurs, a riding hat, a tailored shirt, a velveteen fitted jacket, and tall resin boots. ~ Her companion Curry looks the part in his flocked riding hat and checked tie, and holds a resin brush complete with leatherette handle to groom their mount. ~ While out on a foxhunt they found a new "friend" that Boyd's designed just for this piece. ~ The mini fox has jointed arms and legs! ~~~~~
