Product Description
This is Boyd's ~ MISS MOLLY With PENPAL...FRIENDS ARE EVERYWHERE which is Item #4827. ~ She is a part of Boyd's MY BEST FRIEND DOLL COLLECTION. ~ Inspired by friendship, doll artist Julie Good-Kruger made a series of 12" dolls that come with their own mini Best Friends! ~ Each Boyd's doll features custom-designed clothing and accessories; a hand fashioned wig; intricately crafted, cold-cast resin hands and feet (a Boyds innovation!); and a hand-painted porcelain face. ~ Each doll is hand-numbered and back-stamped and comes with it's own box with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY which also has the number of that particular doll on it. ~~~~~

Molly is dressed in a long-sleeve daydress (inspired by an antique illustration) with a sage sash, a matching hair bow, and resin button-up resin boots. ~ She is holding a ruler and is pointing out Paris on her antique map ~ Penpal (the T.F. Wuzzie which is made of mohair!) wears a simple bow tie and is holding on tight to his air mail letter (made of resin)!
