This is Boyd's ~ MEGAN & FAITHFUL...OLD AND DEAR FRIENDS which is Item #4825. ~ She is a part of Boyd's MY BEST FRIEND DOLL COLLECTION. ~ Inspired by friendship, doll artist Julie Good-Kruger made a series of 12" dolls that come with their own mini Best Friends! ~ Each Boyd's doll features custom-designed clothing and accessories; a hand fashioned wig; intricately crafted, cold-cast resin hands and feet (a Boyds innovation!); and a hand-painted porcelain face. ~ Each doll is hand-numbered and back-stamped and comes with it's own box with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY which also has the number of that particular doll on it. ~~~~~
Megan, a shelf (or chair) sitting doll, is wearing a cotton dress with a hand-embroidered collar, a slip, cotton pantaloons, and strap resin shoes. ~ His T.F. Wuzzie is tattered - complete with loose and floppy joints, a wobbly head and shaved patches to mimic fur worn away from excessive luvin'!
